Very comfortable gloves for everyday use – lightweight, fit well on the hand, and can be put on quickly thanks to the cuff. A plus for the materials – the grip is secure and you can easily do precise tasks, even use the phone without taking them off. They perform well at the shooting range, outdoors, or during regular tinkering in the garage. Just keep in mind that these are gloves for lighter tasks – for heavy-duty work they may wear out faster. However, at this price, it's really hard to complain. A very reasonable choice.
Mechanix Wear FastFit Core 3 Tactical Gloves - Olive Drab
Versatile rugged gloves crafted to deliver essential mechanical protection. With their close-fitting design, they offer excellent grip control without restricting fine motor skills. Perfect for military and law enforcement professionals, shooting enthusiasts, survivalists, automotive repair, DIY tasks, and airsoft activities.
Breathable CoolPlus fabric, Rip-Stop weave, touchscreen compatibility, Lock Ring technology
The upper section of the gloves utilizes breathable, lightweight CoolPlus fabric to minimize hand sweating and deliver excellent ventilation. The rear side of the fingers employs Rip-Stop material, which enhances resistance to tearing and fraying even if locally damaged, providing superior abrasion protection. The palm area incorporates robust, 0.6 mm thick synthetic leather that ensures a secure grip and precise control, while also enabling seamless operation of touchscreen devices without removing the gloves. The Lock Ring reinforcement shields the critical thumb area, boosting construction durability and helping to prevent seam damage.
Cuff with drawstring, 2-piece palm construction
A wide cuff equipped with a drawstring offers enhanced protection and ensures the gloves remain firmly secured at the wrist. The exceptionally wide opening allows for effortless donning of the gloves. Designed with a 2-piece inner palm, the gloves reduce bunching and curling for an improved fit. In the lower palm, ventilated padding increases airflow and delivers added protection against injury.
ANSI/ISEA 105-3XX and EN388-2121X
The gloves comply with the American safety standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 3XX, providing certified resistance to cuts, abrasion, and punctures, which indicates:
- 3: abrasion resistance (measured on a scale from 1 to 6)
- X: cut resistance (rated from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (evaluated from 0 to 5)
The gloves also fulfill the requirements of the EN388 standard at level 2121X for mechanical risk resistance, which is interpreted as:
- 2: abrasion resistance (scale of 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale of 0–5)
- 2: tear resistance (scale of 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (assessed from A–F)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 guidelines, abrasion resistance is rated on a scale from 1 to 6, signifying the number of cycles the material withstands before failure. Cut resistance ranges from A1 to A9, with protection increasing with the rating. Puncture resistance is classified from 0 to 5, reflecting the force necessary to penetrate the glove’s surface with a sharp probe (excluding needle puncture).
Protection levels specified by the EN388 standard indicate: 0 means no protection, whereas the maximum values (4, 5) reflect the highest available resistance.
For TDM testing (ISO 13997), letters represent the cut resistance, where A corresponds to the lowest, and F to the highest protective level.
The X symbol signifies that the respective test was either not conducted or not relevant.

I received gloves in a different color and in a new version, but I still consider them a good choice for basic gloves. I don't mind the darker shade of brown instead of coyote, although it was a surprise for me. I have been using FastFit as my everyday gloves for years and they usually last me for a season during bushcraft, hiking, or dog sports. The price is adequate for the quality.
-
The gloves are comfortable and even fit the hands quite well. As for durability – it depends on what we expect from them. Perfect for the shooting range, but I wouldn’t take them on duty; they’re too thin and not resistant to punctures. But the price is also quite low.
-
Very nice gloves for bushcraft or similar activities, mainly because of the inner side made of fairly durable imitation leather. Still, it's a pity that it's not genuine leather. The outer material is not very breathable and airy, even in summer, and unfortunately it's not resistant to sparks or similar things at all. The gloves fit the hand well, they fit almost perfectly.
-
Great looking, lightweight gloves. I have as many as five pairs in different colors, and each one suits me. They fit the hand perfectly, and touch screen operation works without any problems. They might be too thin for very cold days, but in other conditions, they're really an excellent choice for the price.
-
Mechanix tactical gloves are quality in themselves, the company makes good and durable products. Ideal for the shooting range and tactical operations. Durable material, quick drying, I recommend them.
-
These are my first gloves and unfortunately I feel a bit disappointed – even though the size is correct, they do not fit my hands perfectly. They also lack a Velcro strap, which makes them seem easy to slip off. I'm concerned they won't be durable.
-
They look great, very easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, I don't recommend them for "heavy work"; I used them for about a month and a half during furniture deliveries and unfortunately, after this time, there are already holes on 5 fingertips. I recommend them for lighter work.
-
They fit very well, the colors are just as I expected, hidden in the waist bag as the first line. At the promotional price, there's no doubt you should definitely grab them. I highly recommend this model.
-
Very comfortable to put on and take off. The materials and craftsmanship inspire confidence from the first touch. This is another pair from this manufacturer in my collection, but the first FastFit, and from now on I will only buy this version – they are very comfortable.
-
For me, the gloves are just right for basic work at a forest camp. Now, in winter, they also provide a bit of warmth, and the material allows you to use your phone's touchscreen with any finger, not just your thumb and index finger – although you can forget about typing in them.
-
Mechanix Wear FastFit tactical gloves - Olive Drab are nice, not too thick gloves. The grip in them is quite decent. But I probably wouldn't buy them for working with firearms.
-
I bought Mechanix gloves for the first time (previously I had read various opinions about the durability/price ratio) along with another model, i.e. the Original. Strangely, despite being thinner than the Original, during a walk with the dog at a temperature of -5°C, they seemed to protect my hands from the cold better.
-
These are already my third gloves of this model. For moderate outdoor activities such as walking the dog and hiking in the forest, they are perfect. I recommend them!!!
-
Very good gloves. This is the second pair I own. They provide a good grip on the weapon and are also suitable for precision tasks. Of course, nothing compares to bare hands, but where hand protection is needed, it's worth investing in such gloves. I recommend them!
