Perfect for a suit when you need discretion. In that case, rat 1 won't work, but rat 2 with its dimensions is perfect for me. I honestly recommend it more.
The versatile Ontario RAT II knife offers a compact alternative to the folding RAT I, making it ideal for EDC use and everyday situations.
Featuring a drop point blade crafted from Aus-8 tool steel with a black coating, the knife provides reliable strength. Dual thumb studs assist easy, one-handed blade deployment for both right and left-handed users.
Constructed with an ergonomic handle made from G10 glass-epoxy laminate and reinforced with fiberglass, the RAT II has steel liners and a liner lock for secure blade retention. The deep index finger groove ensures a firm grip, and a lanyard hole at the rear facilitates attachment to a keychain or safety cord.
A spring steel deep-carry clip ensures practical, discreet carry by enabling secure attachment to a belt or pocket. The reversible clip offers mounting options in both tip-up and tip-down positions for ambidextrous use.

Probably everything about this little rat has already been written. The classic speaks for itself. I am one of those people who will always appreciate it for the quality-to-price ratio. For me, it's yet another Rat in the pack :)
-
Smaller and lighter, lacks a thumb stud. The difference is that here they used D2 steel, which in my opinion is better than the AUS8 used in the older model. D2 holds sharpness better.
-
When it comes to quality, there's not much to say because it's in a class of its own—after all, it's Ontario. This model is very nice because it's smaller and handy, so it's more comfortable to carry every day.
-
I have been using it for 2 months and I am very satisfied, so far there has been no need to re-sharpen it, it keeps its sharpness very well, the knife is compact and perfect for everyday carry.
-
Fantastic little knife, perfect for everyday use at this price. Highly recommended. You'd probably have to pay twice as much for a similar Benchmade (just to be clear, my favorite knife is the Griptilian).
-
This is my second one. The first one mysteriously disappeared from my pocket after over a year of use. I appreciate it for the ease of opening it with the thumb of either the right or left hand. Very handy. Well-shaped blade and handle.
-
I have been using it for some time and I am very satisfied. In addition to its great appearance, the quality leaves nothing to be desired. It arrived as sharp as a razor. The size is perfect for EDC. It's so light you don't feel it in your pocket at all.
-
Nice small folder for EDC. Also, great D2 steel is used here instead of the rather weak AUS8 found in cheaper models. The knife is truly worth recommending.
-
I have the green version, great folder - smaller than its bigger brother, so it's more convenient for daily pocket carry. As for build and quality, there isn't much to say, Ontario has gotten us used to top quality.

Great folder—smaller than its bigger brother, so it's more convenient for everyday pocket carry. As for the build and quality, there’s not much more to say; Ontario has accustomed us to top workmanship.
-
The cult model with excellent D2 steel. Very well made. The knife is extremely useful and perfect for EDC. I recommend it to everyone; it fits perfectly in the pocket. I like it a lot.
-
Great knife. Very good steel compared to the cheaper model. Very nice handle, unique among other knives. Overall, the quality is great, I highly recommend it.
-
The knife arrived sharp. It's light, sleek, just right for a woman's hand. It opens and closes easily with one hand. I also have the RAT 1, which I also like. Very good quality of workmanship and enjoyable to use.

Besides being great, it is also great. Fits perfectly in the hand, lightweight, small. I recommend it.
