The versatile Ontario RAT II knife offers a compact alternative to the folding RAT I, making it ideal for EDC use and everyday situations.
Featuring a drop point blade crafted from Aus-8 tool steel with a black coating, the knife provides reliable strength. Dual thumb studs assist easy, one-handed blade deployment for both right and left-handed users.
Constructed with an ergonomic handle made from G10 glass-epoxy laminate and reinforced with fiberglass, the RAT II has steel liners and a liner lock for secure blade retention. The deep index finger groove ensures a firm grip, and a lanyard hole at the rear facilitates attachment to a keychain or safety cord.
A spring steel deep-carry clip ensures practical, discreet carry by enabling secure attachment to a belt or pocket. The reversible clip offers mounting options in both tip-up and tip-down positions for ambidextrous use.

Probably everything about this little rat has already been written. The classic speaks for itself. I am one of those people who will always appreciate it for the quality-to-price ratio. For me, it's yet another Rat in the pack :)

Smaller and lighter, lacks a thumb stud. The difference is that here they used D2 steel, which in my opinion is better than the AUS8 used in the older model. D2 holds sharpness better.

Nice small folder for EDC. Also, great D2 steel is used here instead of the rather weak AUS8 found in cheaper models. The knife is truly worth recommending.

I have the green version, great folder - smaller than its bigger brother, so it's more convenient for daily pocket carry. As for build and quality, there isn't much to say, Ontario has gotten us used to top quality.
